i find myself enveloped in gratitude at having been able to here Robin speak, and more that what I heard him speak was "Lanuage of Love." (I hope I'm not botching the title). it was a monumental part of my first stay at Naropa. and on a more personal level that my uncle passed away on thursday moring as well. while i'm sure he knew nothing of Robin, their efforts in life were directed toward the same purpose. as result of the incredible way they lived, and what they lived for, their passing offers us (me) one of the rarer moments in life where we can focus not so fully on grieving, but on accomplishment and remembrance and praise.

thank you robin.

yo...the talk we were lucky enough to hear robin give was titled...the irreparable...and as you said...the topic was language and love...it was an amazing afternoon that summerday...i'll never forget it!...the words from that talk...which i go back to often...have become essential to me... he makes the solid connection to cosmos, love, poetry, and politics...it is published in his "The Fire...as well as in chapbook form...AND you can even hear him read it again if you check out the pennsound link!...in fact i may post the link soon...

robin blaser (goon king) will be missed.
